Leadership

Pastor Gary and Krystal have served as the Lead Pastors at The Assembly since July 2001. Pastor Gary  is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. He has a Bachelor's in Church Ministries and a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (now Nelson University). He and his wife have been married since March 1991. They have two incredible children. Pastor Gary loves all things chocolate!

Pastor Brandon has been serving as our Associate & Student Pastor since July 2021. Brandon grew up in West Memphis, AR and graduated from West Memphis Christian School. After high school, he attended  Southwestern Assemblies of God University (now Nelson University) and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Church Leadership and a Master's in Organizational Leadership. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and has been credentialed since March 2017.  Brandon loves vanilla lattes, Chick-fil-A, and listening to music - all with a group of friends.

Pastor Cherokee has served as our Children’s Pastor since September 2018.  He graduated from Oral Roberts University with a Bachelor's in Youth & Family Ministries. He is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God and has ministered to children and their families in Oklahoma and Pennsylvania along with ministering at camps for abused and neglected foster children. He and his wife, Ashlyn, married in March 2021. A fun fact about Cherokee is that he once got an ORU van stuck at the Peabody Hotel (no ducks or people were injured).

Austin has been serving as our Worship Pastor since March 2023. Austin was born in Liberal, KS and grew up in Fayetteville, AR. He graduated from Har-Ber High School. After high school, he attended Northwest Arkansas Community College and later began working at Arkansas Children's Hospital for over 5 years. He is a student at the Arkansas School of Ministry, and has been a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God since October 2025.  He and his wife, Stephanie, married in May 2018 and have two beautiful daughters. Austin loves M&M's, live music,  & spending time with his family.

Pastor Kyle has served as the Campus Pastor at The Assembly - Gentry  since March 2020. He previously served as Youth Pastor at Decatur Assembly of God for 11 years.  He grew up in Northwest Arkansas and graduated from Springdale High School. Kyle received his Bachelor's from Central Bible College in 2008 and became an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God in May 2019. He and his wife, Athea, married in May 2007 and have two beautiful daughters. He is a huge Arkansas Razorback fan.
