Judges: Rebellion & Rescue

Judges 2:10 (NIV) After that whole generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation grew up, who knew neither the LORD nor what he had done for Israel.

This verse is a frightening one because it shows us how important it is for us to pass on our spiritual faith onto the next generation. That did not take place with them. We begin to see a cycle take place with the Israelites. This is really the theme of Judges.
